Consecutive interpreting at this level is less about knowing two languages and more about managing the cognitive load of listening, analyzing, note-taking, and delivering a coherent speech minutes later under pressure. You'll build a personal symbol-based note system around Rozan's principles, work into both your A and B languages, and perform in mock conferences simulating press briefings, business meetings, and migration panels, with terminology prep and register control graded across four performance assessments plus two midterms and two finals. The course sits at the professional end of the interpreting track, translating earlier theory and shorter exercises into the stamina, ethics, and booth-ready judgment expected before you take on real conference work.
