Simultaneous interpreting is the high-wire act of translation: listening, analyzing, and speaking in another language all at once, with no rewind button. You'll spend most of your time in the booth running drills on memory, paraphrasing, and salami technique, then graduating to mock conferences where stamina and stress management matter as much as linguistic accuracy. Building on the consecutive interpreting and discourse analysis you've already done, this is where the program's training converges into the actual professional skill, with two midterms, two finals, and lab exams checking that your delivery holds up under real conditions.
