LNG 173 picks up where Turkish II left off, pushing you from survival-level Turkish into the upper half of A2 where you can actually narrate, predict, and describe instead of just naming things. Expect to spend most class time using the language, buying tickets, planning a trip, telling a legend from your country, writing about someone important to you, with units 3-6 of the İstanbul A2 book anchoring the grammar (future tense, geniş zaman, miş'li geçmiş). Assessment leans heavily on participation, a verbal presentation, and steady homework rather than one big exam, which matches the goal: building enough comfort to function in everyday Turkish situations before moving on to LNG 174.
