Project scheduling is the operations-research side of project management: how do you build a realistic timeline when activities have precedences, resources are scarce, and money, quality, and uncertainty all pull in different directions. You'll work through CPM and PERT networks, time-cost trade-offs, and mathematical programming formulations for the resource-constrained scheduling problem, then push into exact and heuristic algorithms for cases where exact methods stop scaling. It builds on your earlier OR and optimization courses and is what turns abstract scheduling theory into something you'd actually use on a real engineering project.

To be able to take the final exam, students should collect a minimum of 20% from In-class participation. Those who cannot satisfy this condition will get grade FZ.
