Management and Organization Studies

A graduate seminar that grounds you in how the management and organizations field actually thinks, by working through the seminal papers behind theories of leadership, motivation, team dynamics, organizational design, and competitive strategy rather than treating them as textbook checklists. The semester runs on reading academic articles and writing reflection reports each week, a presentation, and a research proposal, so most of your time goes into engaging with primary literature instead of lectures. It is built as a launchpad for the thesis stage of a master's program — by the end you should know which paradigms speak to you and have a defensible proposal to carry into your own research.
