Advanced Inorganic Chemistry II

Where Inorganic I treated molecules and discrete coordination complexes, this course shifts the lens to extended solids — how you actually make them, what their band structures and optical responses look like, and how techniques like Mössbauer pin down local electronic environments. Expect a problem-driven semester anchored by two midterms, homework, and a research-paper presentation where you take a current solid-state or nanochemistry topic and defend it in front of the class.
