Senior Design Project II

CS 492 is the second half of the senior capstone, where the team you formed in CS 491 actually builds and ships the system you spent the previous semester designing. The bulk of the work happens outside the classroom: you iterate on the detailed design, implement the project, write a user manual aimed at non-technical readers, and deliver a final report plus a live demo to a jury. It's the course where everything from your earlier CS coursework — software engineering, algorithms, databases, whichever electives shaped your track — gets exercised together under real engineering constraints, including the ethical and communication expectations of professional practice.
