Senior Project

The capstone of the archaeology program, where you take everything from four years of coursework and turn it into a single self-directed project under a faculty supervisor — anything from a site guide or museum poster series to a 3D reconstruction or short documentary, as long as the coordinator signs off. The semester is paced by hard deadlines (bibliography and outline, first draft, final draft, poster, presentation) rather than weekly lectures, so the real work is independent research with periodic check-ins. It's less about learning new material than proving you can scope a question, defend your methodology, and deliver something presentable to a non-specialist audience.
