Selected Topics in International Law

The course intends to focus on certain selected topics of contemporary international legal order and study them in depth referring to state practice, the practice of international organizations as well as to decisions of international courts and tribunals. Current topics such as sovereignty, human rights, humanitarian intervention, armed conflict, and international responsibility will be examined also through the perspective of technological developments and digitalization of our world.
