Senior Thesis II

The capstone of the philosophy degree, where the research project you scoped out in the fall becomes an actual finished thesis: you spend the semester drafting, revising under your advisor, and ultimately defending the argument in front of a jury. Most of the work happens on your own time — independent reading, writing, and rewriting — punctuated by a first draft submission mid-semester and a final draft near the end. This is where you prove you can sustain a long-form philosophical argument and stand behind it under questioning, which is the skill graduate programs and law schools actually care about.
