Native Android development in Kotlin, framed as an applied software-engineering course rather than a survey of mobile tech: you learn how an app is actually wired together — activities and their lifecycle, layouts and views, intents, background services, and local persistence — by building one. Most weeks pair lectures with Android Studio lab work, and the load is a midterm, final, homeworks, and a term project where you ship a realistic app end-to-end. It sits late in the CTIS track because it leans on your Java/OOP and database background, and it's the natural lead-in to senior project work or any job involving client-side mobile code.

In order to qualify for the final exam, students must (i) attend at least 50% of the LAB (ii) Have no more than 18 hours of absence from the LECTUREs(iii) collect at least 10 points in total from the MIDTERM EXAM and HOMEWORK assignments.
