Industrial Design Project I

EEE 493 is the first half of the senior capstone — a year-long, team-based engineering project where you stop solving textbook problems and start owning a real design from scratch, usually with an industry sponsor or faculty mentor. This semester is mostly upstream work: scoping the problem, surveying prior art, running feasibility studies and simulations, nailing down specifications, and defending it all in committee presentations and a critical design review before any serious building happens. It's where everything you've picked up across circuits, signals, electronics, and programming gets tested against an open-ended problem, and the proposal you finalize here becomes the spec you implement in EEE 494 next semester.
