Aimed at executives rather than future accountants, this EMBA course treats financial statements as a managerial lens — the goal is reading what the numbers reveal about a business and using that to make strategic decisions, not mastering bookkeeping mechanics. You'll work through the accounting cycle from journal entries to a full set of statements, then move into cost accounting, cash flow, ratio analysis, and basic forecasting, with three term projects, homeworks, and case work (including an Arçelik audit report) anchoring the theory. It's the financial-literacy foundation the rest of the EMBA leans on, so corporate finance, strategy, and operations courses can assume you can interpret a balance sheet without flinching.
