Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Business

GE 422 is about why workplaces treat people differently along lines like race, gender, age, disability, class, and religion, and what organizations can actually do about it once you move past slogans into policy, law, and culture. You read cases and HBR-style articles each week, run in-class discussions, build a midterm project and a group final, and present your work through posters and oral talks rather than sitting exams in the traditional sense. It is a general-education elective, so no real prerequisites, but it pairs well with management and HR courses and gives you a vocabulary for the ethical and legal side of work you will hit the moment you enter any sizeable company.
