Motion Design Studio

Motion design is where graphic design learns to move through time, and this studio is about thinking in keyframes, timing, and sequence rather than static composition. You'll spend the semester inside After Effects building three projects that ramp in scope, kinetic typography, a logo reveal, and a storyboarded promo video, learning how layers, masks, shape paths, and 3D space behave when stretched across a timeline. It builds on your earlier typography and composition foundations and prepares you for any later work involving video, UI motion, or branded content, where knowing how things enter, exit, and ease matters as much as how they look frozen.
