Physiology

Physiology asks how a body made of trillions of cells stays alive as a single integrated system — how electrical, chemical, and mechanical signals across organs keep internal conditions stable while the outside world keeps changing. You'll work through the major systems (nervous, cardiovascular, renal, endocrine, and the rest) building the homeostatic logic that ties them together, with two midterms, quizzes, a homework set, and a report-style assignment to push you past memorization. Coming after the cell and molecular core of the MBG curriculum, it's where that bottom-up biology meets whole-organism function, and it's the conceptual bridge into pathophysiology, pharmacology, and most clinical electives you'll touch later.
