Symphony Orchestra V

The fifth installment of your compulsory ensemble track, where the focus shifts from learning your instrument in isolation to functioning as one voice inside a working orchestra, chorus, or chamber group. Most of your time is spent in weekly rehearsals preparing Baroque-through-contemporary repertoire for a public final performance, with individual practice on your assigned parts filling in the rest of the workload. By this point you're expected to handle standard orchestral literature reliably, so the emphasis is less on survival and more on refining ensemble discipline, intonation, and stylistic awareness before the sixth and final semester closes out the sequence.
