THR 451 is the capstone where everything you've trained for — voice, movement, scene study, text analysis — gets put to work on a single sustained production, from first read-through to public performance. You'll rehearse a full play under a director, interpret and analyze the text alongside the cast, take it through staging and technical runs, and keep a process journal that feeds into a self-evaluation at the end; the final exam itself is a scene from a realistic or classical play. It's the first half of your senior project year, so the habits you build here — showing up rehearsal-ready, collaborating inside a director's vision, sustaining a role over months — are what THR 452 in the spring assumes you already have.
