A graduate seminar that treats architecture less as object-making and more as a discourse you have to read, situate, and argue about—pulling buildings into conversation with narrative theory, urban transformation, art criticism, and philosophy. Most of the work happens through reading dense theoretical texts (Ricoeur, Foucault, Rendell) and producing your own written reports and presentations on contemporary projects, both Turkish and international, rather than studio output. It sits alongside the design-heavy core of the MArch as the place where you sharpen the critical vocabulary you need to defend your own thesis positions.
