A graduate seminar built around how emerging technologies reshape what architects can actually build, from intelligent facades and acoustic environments to sustainability certification and energy performance. The semester runs as a literature-driven workshop: you survey scientific databases, pick a niche within current architectural technology research, present module readings to peers, and develop the work into a research or review paper that goes through proposal, discussion, and critique rounds. It is meant to sharpen the research and writing skills you'll lean on for thesis work, while grounding you in the technical conversations driving contemporary practice.
