Technical Mathematics with Programming

Precalculus reframed through computer graphics: instead of working problems on paper, you implement the math by drawing things on screen with OpenGL and GLUT, so a line equation becomes collision detection, a quadratic becomes projectile motion, and a matrix becomes a 2D transformation. Expect weekly C/OpenGL exercises, two homeworks, a midterm, a final, and a performance grade tied to your hands-on work in lab. It's a spring-semester foundation for the graphics, game, and simulation courses later in the CTIS track, the point is to make sure you can both do the algebra and turn it into code that moves pixels.
