This is where analog design stops being abstract small-signal algebra and becomes about building real amplifiers out of MOSFETs, with all the tradeoffs (gain vs. bandwidth, noise vs. power, stability vs. speed) that define the field. You'll work through Razavi chapter by chapter, hand-analyze stages with large- and small-signal models, then move into CAD tools to simulate and lay out circuits like op-amps and bandgap references, capped by a project and lab characterization. It sits downstream of EEE 313-style electronics and is the gateway course for anyone heading toward IC design, RF, or mixed-signal work.
