Art Studio VI - Degree Project

FA 402 is the capstone studio where you finally pull everything from the past three years into a coherent body of work that actually says something — not isolated exercises, but three senior projects across techniques like sculpture, ceramics, and painting/printmaking that hang together as your own artistic voice. Most of your time is spent in the studio producing, with sketches and maquettes feeding into two prejuries and a final jury where faculty critique the work in front of you. It's the bridge between being a student making assignments and being an artist defending a portfolio, so the real deliverable is less the objects themselves than a defensible practice you can carry into exhibitions or graduate applications.
