Senior Seminar

The capstone studio-seminar where senior Fine Arts students step back from technique and situate their own practice within the critical debates that shaped art from late modernism onward, minimalism, conceptualism, performance, feminist and identity-driven work, and the institutional critique that followed. You'll read theory (Krauss, Foster, Harrison & Wood) alongside weekly discussions, then produce research reports and projects that translate those positions into your own interdisciplinary, public-facing work. It's the bridge between studio training and a graduating thesis or portfolio: less about learning new movements than about defending where you stand among them.
