Bilkent Chorale is the university's open-enrollment choir, and at the seventh-semester level it assumes you already sing comfortably in a section and now expects real ownership of the repertoire, intonation, blend, phrasing, and stylistic judgment rather than just hitting the right notes. The work happens almost entirely in the rehearsal room and on stage: you prepare assigned pieces week by week, refine sight-reading and vocal technique under the conductor, and are expected at every rehearsal and concert since the ensemble only exists when everyone shows up. It carries light credit (2.0 / 3.5 ECTS) but functions as the long arc of your musicianship at Bilkent, where each semester sharpens the discipline that solo lessons and theory courses can't teach on their own.
