Bilkent Chorale is less a class than a working ensemble: you rehearse weekly with the conductor, prepare repertoire across styles, and perform it publicly in concerts that everyone is expected to attend. The real work is ear training and discipline in disguise — holding your own line in three- or four-part textures, reading new scores on sight, following a baton in real time, and shaping phrases to match the conductor's interpretation. It's open to any student regardless of major, and the sixth-semester designation just means you've been doing this long enough that the standards for tone, blend, and independence are higher than they were in Chorale I.
