Finance for tourism and hospitality majors, built around the core question of how managers decide whether a project, asset, or investment is worth the money tied up in it. You'll spend most of the semester working through time-value-of-money mechanics in Excel, pricing risk against expected return, reading financial statements for cash flow rather than accounting profit, and applying NPV and other criteria to capital budgeting problems.
