Revenue management is the discipline of selling the right room, to the right guest, at the right price, through the right channel — and this course teaches you to treat that as a quantitative problem rather than a gut call. You'll work through segmentation and forecasting exercises, pricing and inventory decisions, a hotel simulation, and a group project that culminates in a RevMAP-style strategic plan, alongside homework sets and a presentation on ethical pricing. It sits late in the THM curriculum because it pulls together what you've learned about marketing, operations, and basic economics, and it's the course hotel chains actually look at when they hire for analyst and revenue roles.
