This is a hands-on graduate course where you learn to actually build and judge curricula rather than just study them in the abstract, the core idea is that curriculum design is a deliberate, evidence-based practice with competing technical and non-technical traditions behind it. Most of your work happens through reading and presenting evaluation articles, two essays, and a field study you carry out in your own school, where you diagnose a real curricular issue and design an evaluation plan for it. It sits at the applied end of the CI sequence, turning the theory from earlier coursework into something you can defend to a school where decisions about programs are made.

In order to qualify to take the final exam of the course, students must: 1. Have attended 11 out of the 14 weekly course sessions 2. Have a total of at least half the points allocated to all graded work throughout the course (including midterm exam)
