This course steps back from the technical side of CTIS to ask the harder question: when the systems you build start shaping how people live, work, and are surveilled, what counts as a responsible choice? You'll work through ethical theories and codes of conduct, then apply them to real tensions, privacy versus security, intellectual property, software liability, AI, via essays, a project, and case-driven discussion rather than coding. It's the course that prepares you to defend a decision in front of a manager, a court, or a user, which is increasingly part of the job once you leave Bilkent.
