Building on FA 301, this studio pushes you past assigned exercises toward finding your own visual voice — the work becomes less about executing a technique correctly and more about defending why you made the choices you did. You'll produce two substantial projects (this semester leaning heavily on ceramics: slab construction, glazing, firing) alongside a portfolio, cycling through sketches, critiques, and gallery visits that sharpen how you talk about your own work. It's the point in the Fine Arts sequence where multidisciplinary fluency starts converging into a personal practice you'll carry into the senior projects.
