Fifth-semester studio where you stop practicing graphic design and start performing it: four back-to-back briefs (self-portrait, an "entropy" piece, a UI/UX project, and a senior project proposal) that push you to defend conceptual choices in front of a jury rather than just hand in deliverables. Most of your time goes to studio hours, sketching, mockups, and crit — the lectures and readings (Lupton, de Bono, Barnard) sit in the background as scaffolding for how you talk about your own work. It's the bridge between the technique-focused earlier studios and GRA 402, and the senior project proposal you draft here is what you'll spend all of next semester building.
