Managerial Accounting

The aim of the course is to introduce the students to the main issues in management accounting. Special emphasis will be put on decision making at different levels of management, and on data and reports to facilitate the decision making process. Topics covered include: cost volume profit analysis, cost behavior, costing systems, budgeting, unit cost calculations, pricing, variance analysis, responsibility accounting and performance evaluation.
