Business Ethics and Social Responsibility

MAN 303 takes the moral questions that sit underneath everyday business decisions, who you owe what, when profit conflicts with principle, how to defend a choice when reasonable people disagree, and equips you to argue about them rigorously rather than instinctively. You'll work through normative and descriptive ethical frameworks, then apply them to case studies covering employees, consumers, suppliers, regulators, and civil society, with a project and active class debate carrying real weight alongside the midterm and final. It's less about memorizing theories than about learning to construct and stress-test moral arguments, which is the skill that makes the rest of your management coursework, strategy, HR, marketing, defensible once you're the one signing off.
