MAN 262 is about why people in organizations act the way they do — how individual differences, group dynamics, and leadership shape what actually happens inside a company, beyond what any org chart or strategy deck would suggest. You'll work through Robbins & Judge alongside case studies, a quiz, in-class participation, and written midterm and final exams that push you to apply concepts like motivation, perception, and team dynamics to real workplace situations. Coming after the intro management sequence, it's the behavioral foundation that later HR, leadership, and strategy courses assume you already have, and it's one of the few core MAN courses where the "right answer" depends on reading people, not running numbers.
