International Finance

Corporate finance stops being clean once a firm earns euros, borrows in yen, and reports in dollars, this course is about how exchange rates, parity conditions, and cross-border capital flows reshape the decisions a CFO actually makes. You'll work through Harvard cases (Lufthansa, Groupe Ariel, Voyages Soleil) and Economist articles to measure transaction and operating exposure, price hedges, and evaluate foreign projects, alongside a short essay and exams. It builds on your core finance sequence and is the natural bridge to a career touching multinationals, trading desks, or any Turkish firm whose costs and revenues live in different currencies.
