MAN 425

Corporate Financial Strategy

This is where corporate finance stops being a set of formulas and becomes a way of thinking about how firms actually make capital decisions under uncertainty. Most of the work happens through case studies done in teams, you'll build proforma statements, run DCF and APV valuations, weigh capital structure and payout trade-offs, and defend your conclusions in presentations, capped by a project and final. It assumes you're comfortable with introductory corporate finance and pushes you toward the kind of analysis you'd be expected to deliver in M&A, restructuring, or investment banking interviews.
