MBA 525 zooms in on private equity and venture capital, how professional investors actually price, structure, and extract value from deals that don't trade on public markets. You'll work through valuation cases, build projected cash flows, draft term sheets, and reason about due diligence and deal structuring the way a PE associate would. It assumes the corporate finance and accounting groundwork from the first-year MBA core, and serves as the applied capstone for anyone heading toward buy-side, IB, or fund roles where standard DCF intuition has to flex around illiquidity, control rights, and exit timing.
