MBA 561 treats management as a design problem: how do you structure people, teams, and culture so an organization actually executes its strategy under real-world messiness? You'll work through cases, a simulation, and a term project covering motivation, performance, leadership, and organizational behavior, with grading split between two essay exams, participation, and the project. As a required Spring course it's the capstone-level synthesis where the individual-level concepts from earlier OB and HR coursework get scaled up to the structural and cultural decisions managers actually make.
