Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management

MBA 568 treats entrepreneurship as a distinct mode of business activity rather than a smaller version of corporate management, centered on how founders systematically spot, validate, and exploit opportunities under deep uncertainty. You'll work through the lean startup cycle in practice, generating ideas, building a business model, then going into the field for customer discovery and validation interviews, alongside cases, homework, and a venture project that culminates in presentations. The Turkish angle (family businesses, private-sector development) grounds the theory locally, and the funding and scalability material makes this a natural complement to strategy and finance electives for anyone weighing a startup path or an innovation role inside an established firm.
