Money and capital markets aren't just where securities trade — they're the plumbing that moves savings into investment, and financial institutions are the intermediaries whose balance sheets absorb the risks that flow through that plumbing. You'll work through how those markets price and allocate funds, then dig into commercial bank financial statements to see how interest-rate, credit, and liquidity risks actually show up and get managed, with a project tying the framework to current conditions in Turkey and abroad. As a graduate elective, it sits between corporate finance and risk management, giving you the institutional grounding needed to make sense of regulatory shifts and macro shocks rather than treating them as background noise.
