Relationship science treats close human ties — attachment, caregiving, mating — as a serious empirical subject, and this course works through what decades of theory and data actually say about why we bond, choose partners, get jealous, and break up. You'll read primary research articles and chapters posted on Moodle rather than a textbook, write two essay exams, and produce a project that pushes you to apply the frameworks to real cases. It draws mainly on social, developmental, and evolutionary psychology, so it lands well after you've seen the intro sequence, and it's where psychology stops being abstract and starts explaining your own life.
