Occupational well-being has moved from a soft HR concern to a measurable science, and this course treats it that way — asking what actually makes a workplace psychologically safe, how engagement and resilience are built, and how you'd quantify any of it. Coursework runs on two well-being textbooks (Johnson & Robertson; Day & Kelloway) plus a project and five quizzes anchoring a midterm and final, with case studies of real organizations doing this well or badly. It sits on the applied side of psychology alongside I/O and organizational behavior, and matters because almost any job you take after Bilkent — managing people, designing programs, or just surviving a VUCA workplace — will reward knowing the evidence base behind it.
