Architectural Drawing trains you to see and communicate space through the conventional language architects actually use, orthographic projections, obliques, and rendered three-dimensional views, so that what you imagine becomes legible to other people on paper. Most of your time is spent at the drafting table producing studio exercises, weekly homework, two timed drawing midterms, and a term project that culminates in a portfolio reviewed at juries. As a first-semester foundation, it runs alongside the design studio and gives you the representational vocabulary every later course assumes you already own.
