Nexus:Creative Explorations Lab

Nexus is a transdisciplinary studio where mixed teams pick a contemporary global problem and spend a semester building a creative response to it, with the medium, film, installation, exhibition, publication, spatial intervention, chosen to fit the idea rather than the other way around. Most of your time goes into studio work, charettes, and iterative critique, with a portfolio tracking how your thinking evolves alongside three presentations and one final project. It sits outside the usual departmental track as a senior-level elective meant to pull students from different faculties into the same room, so the real point is learning to think and make with people whose training is nothing like yours.
