Advanced Screenwriting

Screenwriting as craft rather than inspiration: you learn to engineer a story so an audience feels what you want them to feel, scene by scene, page by page. Expect to work through the full pipeline from a raw idea to outline, character work, and roughly 15 pages of polished script, with a pitch session at the midpoint and peer critique throughout. It builds on whatever narrative instincts you already have and pushes you toward industry-standard structure (think McKee, Seger), so it's the natural follow-up to intro screenwriting and a foundation for any later production or directing work where the script is the thing that everything else stands on.
