Video Production for Non-majors

COMD 364 is a hands-on introduction to making video as a craft rather than just consuming it, learning to see how lenses, light, sound, and cuts actually shape what a moving image communicates. You'll spend most of the semester shooting and editing your own short pieces, working through camera and continuity exercises before building toward a final project you screen and defend in critique. It's designed for non-majors, so no prior production background is assumed; expect it to be useful for anyone whose later work (in design, advertising, research, or just communication) involves telling a story with footage.
