Character Animation and Sequential Storytelling

Highlighting concept development and storytelling methods in a studio and project-based learning environment. The course involves exploring animation as a limitless storytelling medium through considering both traditional and non-traditional narrative storytelling. Developing projects using pre-production methods including; character design, storyboarding techniques, color scripting and advancing to experimentations in various animation style and technique combinations. Students acquire both digital and manual tools to create effective sequential visual stories.
