Media doesn't just report on the world, it shapes what counts as truth, who gets heard, and where private life ends. This senior elective works through that terrain via case studies on objectivity, fake news, hate speech, privacy, and PR, with most of your grade riding on a term essay where you pick an ethical dilemma, propose it, defend it in class, and write it up. Coming late in the COMD track, it asks you to take everything you've learned about producing media and decide what you actually owe your audience, your subjects, and yourself.
