Visual Communication Project I

Senior capstone, phase one, you pick a project (film, interactive piece, research portfolio, whatever fits your trajectory) and spend the semester turning a vague idea into a locked proposal with a working prototype. The rhythm is proposal draft → idea lock → concept statement → pre-jury → jury, with workflow and design-thinking exercises feeding into your own production, and assessment is performance-based across milestones rather than exams. It's where everything from the prior three years gets pointed at one deliverable you'll actually show to employers or grad committees, and COMD 482 in the spring takes whatever you commit to here to completion.
